(no subject)

What a hectic and troublesome day. I feel exhausted. This hot & humid weather does not really help. My eyes hurt and I'm almost ready to quit. Everything.
I know it will be better in a couple of days when I start to get to know the children a bit. But now I am merely thankful for the peace of being at home. I have decided to not even give a thought to my studies & thesis before September. All i'm going to concentrate on for now is to get things going smoothly at work and to enjoy the small pleasures of everyday life home alone with my cats.

I had a strange and wonderful dream last night. I can't remember much of it but there was water running and the sea. And there was a storm above the sea. It was glowing violet with electricity and I knew there was someone out there I needed to help. I saw she was a young woman the thunder god had taken and she was in the sea, glowing violet and lightning was all over her. So I approached to her but the electricity was so powerful that I knew I could not do it all by myself. So I gathered a group of women together and we were singing "The ocean is the beginning of the Earth.." to get closer to the solution to our problem.. to fill ourselves with power. And we took each other by the hand to be more powerful and I took the electric woman by the hand but I felt it was still too much and I had to withdraw myself from her. And then the thunder god appeared. He was very beautiful and young looking man with somewhat oriental features (East Asian) and he came to me and I placed my arms around his neck and we kissed. He felt strange with all the electricity. I knew he was dangerous and powerful but he did not hurt me. We only entwined deeper into that unexpected kiss..

When i woke up the sky was all grey and it was thundering again.

I am really looking forward to having all these amazing dreams back. I have been feeling distant from them lately.. not remembering much in the morning. But sometimes the memories of dreams are as vivid and real as memories from the things that has happened while I am awake. I find it very interesting.

I wish I could remember more of my dreams cos often I find them really interesting. Usually I only remember if it was a beautiful or disturbing or confusing one which doesn't help much...

I usually remember my dreams very well (but I also tend to write them down quite regularly) but lately it's been more difficult and the only thing I remember is the feeling as it lingers a long time.. maybe bits and pieces from the actual dreams but nothing to write down in a coherent way. I really miss my lucid dreams. It's been a long time since I had any. Maybe it's time for me to start concentrating on dream working once again..

Interesting dream indeed.
Makes it even more interesting that I had a similar dream last night :) Lots of same elements anyway...
