Oh.. and a note to self:
Next time in the grocery store; Do not buy the thing that is for sale because nobody wants to buy it. There is always a reason why nobody wants to buy it.
And if I wish for exotic flavours I may try to find them some other way.

;)

First time I bought some thai style stew packs as they were very inexpensive & the brand was good.. but the food tasted awful (I think I still have one packet in the kitchen closet waiting for a VERY rainy day) and last time I bought tuna flavoured with (too much) lemon & black pepper... Yuck..

I have a tendency to do that as well.

Sometimes it's because I feel sorry for the thing itself, and I don't want it to be lonely anymore. Then I get home, and find it sitting there...

"Why?" Aithbhreac would ask me.

I'd shrug and put it away.

I did that once too, with sushi. It tasted like the entire sea had puked in my mouth : X

Sometimes though, you can find good deals with things on sale. Like "one day old" bread or anything else from bakeries. Or ripe fruit if you plan to eat it on the day of purchase.

True. As long as you know what you buy & how it tastes it's quite okay to buy things on sale. :)
