In their infinite wisdom, LJ has now added a new "feature". This allows anyone who comments on an entry, whether it's locked or not, to x-post their comments to Facebook and Twitter.

Most people who f-lock their posts, do it for a reason. Even if people on Facebook can't read the locked entry itself, they see your comment (which may contain a quote from the locked entry) and the title of the entry. This is a violation of the original poster's privacy.

I'm sure I don't really need to say this but my LJ is private/friends only and I don't want it to have anything to do with FB or Twitter ( I don't want the people; my relatives, old classmates etc. in FB to be able to read even my info page here unless I'm willing to share my journal with them as my friends and I believe it is my decision to make).

I am asking each and every one of you: DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE WHEN YOU COMMENT ON MY ENTRIES!!! I do not want links to my entries all over Facebook and Twitter. Please respect this. My entries are locked for a reason.

If you crosspost your comments to my LJ, public post or not, to Facebook or Twitter, you're banned. Forever. Seriously, there is a reason why I have kept my LJ completely seperate from anything that's on Facebook, and it's meant to stay that way.
